These two paintings are connected. Henery V111's first War Ship was named Mary Rose. Assumed to be named after his sister who was married to the King of France. Henery V111 was very proud of his Ship Mary Rose. It was launched in 1511 and served for 33 years in several wars against France, Scotland, and Brittany. 2. April HRH, portrait of a friend in oil, acrylic, and gold leaf. She loves everything Egyptian. So, I created her image as an Egyptian Empress.

I painted this portrait of my friend April. She is married to an Egyptian. She loves to visit Egypt. I decided to paint her as an Egyptian Princess. I beagan the painting in acrylic. Applied some ink for the background. Finished in oils and gold leaf.

I created these Abstracts this week. I am trying to paint 40 hours/week. Not happy with my mixed media but keep experimenting.
